Eyelash Extensions are semi-permanent individual strands of synthetic fibers made to replace a natural lash. At A2i, we use high quality synthetic silk lashes imported from Korea. Each lash is created with the optimal length, thickness, and curl so that each set of lashes can be customized for the specific look that each client desires. The single strands are applied one by one, to each individual eyelash. With proper application and maintenance, lash extensions look and feel completely natural.
A2i only uses professional medical grade adhesive which never comes in contact with your skin. Synthetic eyelashes adhere about 1 mm away from skin.
Lash extension application varies in time based on the type of appointment you are needing. A full set appointment will last about 90-120 minutes. Lash fill appointments can last between 45-90 minutes, depending on how long it has been since your last appointment.
How long do they last?​
The eyelash extensions will last the length of natural lash growth cycle, varies from 4-8 weeks. Depending on your activity and day-to-day routine, refills should only be required every 2-3 weeks.
Will my natural lash fall out?
Not at all. Lash extensions do not cause hair loss or make any natural lashes fall out. Your natural lashes have a shedding cycle of 3-5 weeks and for every individual this shedding cycle is different. Lash loss is completely due to this natural cycle, not lash extensions.
Can I still apply Makeup after this?
Yes you can! Just be gentle and careful when cleansing the lids. We recommend using a cotton tip and a water-based makeup remover.
Can I get my eyelash extensions wet?
We do advise you to minimize the chance of wetting the extensions for the first 24 hours of wear. After that 24-hour period, the adhesive used to apply your eyelash extensions is secure enough to allow you to get right back to your routine. However, keeping away from extensive contact with steam such as saunas or certain facials is recommended since it can begin to loosen the bond.
How do I care for my extensions?
For the first 24 hours do not allow the lash extensions to get wet, avoid stem and do not swim.
Do not rub or pull on lash extensions.
Avoid oil based products.
Do not put mascara on your lash extensions.
Do not use lash curler on lash extensions.
How do I remove the eyelash extensions?
We provide complimentary lash removal service for our return lash client. Lash extensions removal session will takes additional 20-30 minutes.
