WHAT is mts

Micro-Needle Technique system (MTS), also called collagen induction therapy (CIT), and percutaneous collagen induction (PCI), is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation procedure. It involves the use of an automatic device that contains micro-needles. Needle to maximize the cell penetration of active ingredients. Micro-needles are penetrated through epidermis to stimulate the body to produce new collagen and elastin, the skin’s connective tissue and the structural matrix responsible for smooth texture and elasticity. It allow for active ingredients to penetrate exactly to the dermis where they can immediately get to work.

Is the treatment safe?

The most important factor of Micro Therapy System (MTS) is a patented MTS Cartridge; a unique ‘Class I’ supplemental medical device that is ideal for non- surgical and non-ablative treatment of various skin conditions such as aging (wrinkles, stretching), scarring (acne, surgical), and hyperpigmentation. Clinical studies have shown MTS (micro therapy system) to be more effective than ablative treatments like laser resurfacing, dermabrasion, and chemical peel and just as effective as non-ablative treatments like IPL, CO2 laser, and Fraxel in stimulating collagen and elastin production to thicken the skin thereby erasing wrinkles and smoothing scars.

Are There Side Effects to MTS?

Micro-needling is a superficial process and therefore, fairly safe. The needles are disposable, and the depth of needle insertion is fixed up to 0.2 mm. Minor side effects may include some redness at the treatment site, but it goes away within 1-2 days. No Downtime!

Can I still apply Makeup after this?

Yes you can apply makeup after 2 days.

What kind of results should I expect?

When skin starts repairing itself it turbocharges the body’s natural ability to produce collagen and elastin, which provides that firm plumpness. It helps improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of scars and creates a more youthful skin tone. The results from your first session can last up to 30 days, as long as a good skin care regimen is maintained. Products with retinol and other chemicals should be avoided as they cause the sheen glow look to fade. Using such products will not affect the collagen building affects, but only the sheen glow. Results are cumulative so regular sessions are recommended to increase longevity and enhance coverage.

Will I need a touch-up?

We recommend a minimum of 3 sessions with an interval of 4 weeks to maximize the results. After 3 sessions results may last up to 4 months. 
Thereafter, once every 3-4 months is suggested for maintainance.

How long is the treatment?

The treatment takes 2 hours.

Can I do this treatment when I'm pregnant?

No. Numbing cream contains a certain percentage of Lidocaine which is not healthy for the developing foetus. We definitely welcome you to enjoy the treatment after birth.

Is this process/treatment painful?

No. Numbing cream will be applied before the treatment.
